• The Management Information Systems Department serves customers in counties all across Pennsylvania - including hospitals, TV stations and colleges.
  • The Management Information Systems (MIS) Department offers a wide variety of services to the educational community, including, but not limited to, Internet, Data Storage, Student and Financial Management, Programming, and Professional Publishing and Document Imaging Services.

    The Information Technology Department manages a high-speed broadband fiber optic network that connects the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21 to all fourteen public school districts in Carbon and Lehigh counties and two career and technical schools. The CLIU connects to other Intermediate Units in the state and to the State System of Higher Education. The network provides educational content, software support, Internet, security, filtering, and data storage services to the districts.

    Our Applications Group supports student and business management application packages. Student services include grading, attendance, student scheduling, discipline, and transcripts. Financial management options include fund accounting, tax accounting, payroll, bidding, and personnel.

    The Data Integrity Group ensures the accuracy and timely submission of all student record data for multiple state reports and billing systems.

    The Programming Group creates customized Information Technology solutions utilizing multi- platform application development. In addition, the Group also specializes in Data Warehousing and Report Writing.
